Oh man, I cannot believe I had to go to another couples' seminar this morning. But there you go. That's what happens when you fail a subject and are forced to take it all over again. You end up having to attend the same things all over again. And it's not like you learn different things the second time around anyway. Except for the Esquivels (who were the best speakers last time), all of the guest couples last sem were the ones present again this morning: the Bansons and the two Tantoco couples, plus a new one, the Camuses (Yes, as in Camus of the Myth of Sisyphus).
But yeah, some of their stories were funny, though. Such as that one about the kid very nearly catching his parents, Mike and Paula Tantoco, in the middle of, er, it. They had the door locked, and when the kid knocked, they ignored it. But their kid was too smart. He found the duplicate key to his parents' room and unlocked the door, right when, as Paula Tantoco so delicately put it, "Mike was almost there."
Oh, yeah...some shocking questions some of my weirder fellow students asked this morning: "What would you do if you suddenly discovered that your husband had been touching your daughter?" Um...geez, where'd that come from? And that was the first question asked during the girl-group talk. You can just imagine the shock on the faces of the speakers, who were unsure if they had heard right. As Mrs. Camus said, "I am speechless. Next question." Another weird question: "What would your advice be to a person who is in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, but does not know how to kiss?"
So, though I was feeling sleepy the whole time, those questions kind of kept me awake.
The bad thing was that Fr. Dacanay was there, and I had been working so hard at avoiding the guy who flunked me last semester. And Plib was also there. Excuse me, it's James Maramba. Sorry, I forgot. Jeez, that guy has more aliases than a criminal on the run.
Hmm...but Bantay was also there, by the way. Not that it mattered. He was sitting all the way on the other side of Escaler Hall, which was filled to more than its capacity.
