I finally have a dress for the wedding on July 10. Went shopping yesterday afternoon with my mom and my sister in Glorietta. My feet will never be the same again after all that walking. I think I might have tried all the black heeled shoes/sandals in that mall yesterday. By the time we came to our last stop, I was so tired that I just accepted whatever they handed to me, and just let them decide for me.
Haha...so looks like it's gonna be a bunch of firsts for me on July 10. First time to wear a strapless dress, first time to wear shoes with skinny heels bordering on stilettos, if not already stilettos. I found the dress ok...my sister bought one for her too, but she's not going to wear that to the wedding, or we'll look like idiots. We did take a picture of the two of us in the identical dresses, though. Hehe... But the shoes are lethal. I'm gonna die next Sunday, either from a broken leg or a broken neck, or maybe both. Or maybe I'll get to my seat first, and I'll be able to spend the rest of the night there, barefoot under the table. Heh.
We went straight to Tito Boy and Tita Grace's house after that for Tito Boy's birthday. I got to talk a bunch of fellow harry potter fanatics there into getting their reservations for book 6 from us (it's another fundraising event for the fine arts festival). Robin gave me the P500 reservation fee already. Denise gave me the money for the entire book, which is making me a bit uneasy. I find it scary holding so much of other people's money. At least, Candy and Ian and the other guy (forgot his name) will (if they remember) give me their reservation fees sometime this week.
Went to Bulacan today, as usual. I'm gonna post here a conversation between me and my little cousin, Carlo, while we were riding on the back of my uncle's pick-up truck for ego-boosting sake. (heh).
Carlo: Ate Edlyn, nagpapapayat ka ba?
Me: *grins* Bakit, pumayat ba ako?
Carlo:Oo...nasobrahan nga ata eh...
Me: *bangs my fist against my heart* Haha...Exagg! Sobra ka naman! Ouch!
Carlo: Pero gumanda ka nung pumayat ka, 'te...
Me: Naks naman!!! I'm tached! Kailan birthday mo, Carlo?
Carlo, favorite cousin na kita! Wahahahah...
Haha...wala, pampalaki lang ng ulo ko ngayon, minsan lang ako nagkakaroon ng pagkakataon eh :P
