I finally finished the story (long story? short novel?) I was revising. I know I said I was going to finish it a week or two ago, but between immersion weekend, getting sick and school hell works, I only managed to finish it last night. But that's ok. It's done, and I actually pretty much like how it turned out. Maybe the ending could do with a bit more polishing, but for now, I'm pretty much satisfied. We'll see how it'll be in a few years. I've already taken out another of my long-time, pending stories, and I'm hoping I actually get it finished this time. I'm hoping this sudden respite from writer's block lasts long.
My group in Poetry finally had our group report tonight. I'm glad that's over and done with. I have no problems with two of my groupmates, but the other one has a tendency to get on my nerves. I won't bother mentioning her name. Let's just say that she's another Denise in the making. So bossy, but in the end, she seemed out of the loop when we were doing our report. That's what happens when you spend your time ordering your groupmates about, yet never really attending the meetings wherein we analyze the poem. Even Yumi and Geopet seemed to have noticed how the three of us knew what each other was talking about, while she was standing a few feet away, seeming to have a different report of her own.
And she even has the gall to try to boss around the seniors when it comes to our own festival. The nerve.
Oh well, that's that. Moving on. Theo's still as hateful as ever. I really don't know how one professor can manage to keep the loathing alive in me for a long time. Usually, I'm mad for awhile, then after some time, it sort of fades, then just sparks up again from time to time. I realize now that I never really hated a teacher before. The prof would just annoy me, irritate me from time to time, but nothing more than that. This time, with this prof, my temper is always spiking every time we have our class, I always feel this loathing inside me and I begin to get really sarcastic in class. He really brings out the very worst in me.
I can't wait until this semester is over and I never have to see him ever again.
