I can't believe they're going to ban tricycles going in and out of Ateneo. I can't believe they're not going to allow them in the UP-bound side of Katipunan.
First they closed the intersection in front of Gate 3 so that one would have to go round the entire length of Katipunan to get to the Loyola Heights side of Katipunan. Now, they're going to do that trike ban. Man, can't they leave us anything? Or are they just hell-bent on making lives miserable for students?
I mean, what if it's raining hard? What if you're loaded down with so many things? Are we really going to be forced to lug all those stuff through the overpass and all the way to whatever building we need to get to? What if your class is in Bellarmine? And you're in a hurry? Sure they say that we could have a trike service within Ateneo. But that's just stupid. Waste of money, considering that it's just within campus. And anyway, what tricycle driver would agree to limitting their business within the Ateneo campus? Get real.
And you think those tricycle drivers won't start another rally? Right. The students from Ateneo and Miriam are only their highest sources of customers. If we can't get to our schools by taking the trike, that will be less passengers for them.
Idiots. All these traffic schemes are just making things even worse. It's not as if it actually solves the traffic.
