We went to the birthday party of two of my cousins, Marge and Marion (they're sisters), yesterday. Man, birthday parties sure are grand these days. Imagine holding a kiddie costume party in Gazebo Royale! Haha...it was almost like being in a debut. Plus, they got this taho, ice cream, and popcorn vendors for the party. And of course, there's the elaborate catering service, and the humongous pink cake, plus another one--a real barbie covered in icing. Oh, and two hired emcees. O ha!
I felt old, looking at all those tiny kids in cute costumes (no, I wasn't wearing a costume, I would've looked stupid in one). I can't remember ever having a party like that when I was a kid. Not that I mind...I never was into parties. A little wierd, though...I think the birthday celebrants were kind of forgotten amidst all the activities. I mean, it seemed as though the other kids were having more fun and all since the games were for them. Just a thought.
I finally finished the synthesis paper for theo. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhh. One to go--the portfolio. Then, it's oral exam time for theo. And then, I'll never have to see his face again. The next batch of unfortunate students will have to deal with him next sem. Even if I repeat th 141, I will not be so stupid as to take his class again.
Two more weeks of regular classes to go. Admittedly, two hellish weeks. But at least they're leading to the end. Not that I'm actually excited for sem break. Sem break and summer break, for me, has become overrated. It's not like I particularly enjoy them. I'm still working to get us invited over at Ina's, so that I can find out if my parents will finally let me sleep over at a friend's house hehe. Yeah, I am 21 years old, and I have never gone on a sleepover at a friend's house. Sue me.
