Two Decades and a Year
This morning, at exactly 7:23 am, I turned 21.
Damn, I'm now legal! Of course, not that it actually makes a difference. I mean, I can now drink as a legal adult in the US, but I don't even like the taste of alcoholic drinks. I can now gamble in Las Vegas, except that those slot machines bore me. People won't talk as much anymore if I suddenly up and got married...but then, no boyfriend! Hehe...
Besides, I still look, feel and act like I'm 12.
So, I guess all these 21st year privileges won't make much of a difference in my life and routine. I'll still be the same little ol' Edlyn.
The least fate could do is let me grow at least a couple more inches, don't you think?
