Yesterday, I went with my cousins on a little trip to Rockwell. No, we didn't shop. We went wall climbing in that little deal by the parking lot.
Aaaagggghhh! My arms feel stiff and sore today. Not that I actually got to do much wall climbing yesterday. For some wierd reason, I had zero energy and zero strength in my arms yesterday. I've gone wall climbing twice before, and both times, I managed to steadily climb my way to the top, despite a bit of nerves for being high above the ground with only a harness to keep you from breaking your neck. But yesterday, I couldn't even find the strength to boost myself up. Halfway up the wall, my arms were shaking so badly that I could barely hold on anymore and had to ask my brother to let me down. I tried again, managed to get all the way to the top, though I pretty much forced myself there to salvage some of my pride. After that, my arms didn't stop shaking for about an hour. When I tried again, I couldn't even go up more than a few steps. And my arms were like jelly. Now I know how Harry Potter must have felt when Gilderoy Lockhard magicked his bones away. Today, my arms feel the way Harry's arm must have felt while his bones were being re-grown.
In short, it was a pretty humiliating event. Haha. Am I getting too old? Or was it just the lack of exercise? Or was it the less than four-hour sleep I had the night before, as well as the series of late nights I'd had the past nights?
Wala, Edlyn. Lampa ka lang talaga! Haha.
Moving on. Haha. I'm proving to be really lousy in InDesign and Photoshop. I've been working on arranging the stuff Lewellyn designed for me, and I still can't fix something that satisfies me. Arg. No wonder I never considered a career in computer design or visual arts. Di ko kayang maging kasing OC nina Jay at ng mga ID majors! The file I was able to come up with ended up becoming like a comic book every time you scroll down a page. The graphics move! Haha. Oh well.
At least, I found a relatively cheaper printer. I'm probably going to use Central Book for this, too. So much cheaper than getting my stuff printed page by page in a printing press in UP.
